If you are in 7th-12th grade you are invited and welcome at SVUMC Youth.

Jr. High and high school students are busier than ever - our goal is to create an oasis in the midst of their busy weeks where students are known and know others, where the foundation of their identity and worth is celebrated and grounded in who they are in Jesus Christ so they can grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

One key goal is to encourage, equip and empower parents to live into the fullness God has for them and their kids as growing Disciples of Christ,

Sunday School

Sunday School for youth is from 9:30-10:15. You follow the lessons from the United Methodist Church's lectionary. The morning includes breakfast, a lesson, and an activity.

Youth Nights

Youth meet at the church from 5:30-7:00 for a night of dinner, games, and a bible lesson. 

Youth Mission

Spring Valley Youth undertakes mission trips each summer. Past trips have included the Appalachia Service Project and The Restoration Team in Houston. Both have engaged youth and accompanying adults in repairing homes for the underprivileged. These trips have been transformational for all involved. 

This work will continue in 2025 with the UM Army in San Marcos. The next trip is scheduled for June 22-28, 2025. Contact Maeson Bryant for more information.
